Cornin`s Pouilly-Fuissé comes from biodynamically farmed, family owned vineyards in both their home village (Chaintré) and Fuissé itself. As is often the case here, this 2021 fermented and aged 90% in stainless steel tanks, with 10% in old oak barrels. As such, this wine boasts beautiful purity and vibrancy of perfumed fruit alongside the structure and middle richness of the oak component. Pale lemon-green colour, aromas are fresh and lifted recalling white peach and lemon. Palate is medium bodied and has finely concentrated middle fruit underpinned by precise structure and mineral stoniness. This is a Pouilly-Fuissé of poise and elegance, the finish being long, tense and hamonious.
