In 1990, the Chilean couple Agustin and Valeria Huneeus chose to create their own vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley, in a very famous wine region called Rutherford. Quintessa quickly became a reference among Napa Valley wines, as it benefits from an exceptionally rich terroir, as evidenced by the diversity of its soils, relief and microclimates. Such complexity makes Quintessa a unique wine.
